Itinerary :
Drive past the Castle of Good Hope, built between 1666 and 1679 by the Dutch East India Company (VOC). Originally developed as a maritime replenishment station, it later became the centre of civilian, administrative and military life at the Cape. Today, the Castle remains the seat of the military in the Western Cape.
