Our solar installation helps reduce our environmental impact while supporting the energy needs of our electric fleet and facilities. By producing our own renewable energy, we are able to offer tours that are not only memorable but also more sustainable.

Our Solar Power System
‌

‌Our solar installation uses advanced technology, including Fronius inverter systems, which efficiently convert solar power into usable electricity. This system allows us to produce a significant amount of renewable energy every day.

On average, our solar panels generate around half a megawatt of energy daily. More than half of this energy is sent back to the Cape Town electricity grid, helping support the city with clean, renewable power.

‌The rest of the energy is used directly at our headquarters, particularly to charge our electric vehicles and support our daily operations.‌
