At African Eagle Day Tours, sustainability is at the heart of our travel experiences. In addition to using electric vehicles and solar energy, we have implemented a water recycling system to significantly reduce our water consumption.

For more than 10 years, our headquarters in Cape Town has been equipped with a water recovery and recycling system that allows us to reuse water for our daily operations. This system helps us maintain high service standards while reducing our environmental impact.

By recycling water and collecting rainwater, we are able to support our operations responsibly while continuing to offer high-quality tours and experiences for our guests.

For longer excursions such as the Cape Peninsula tours, our vehicles are carefully cleaned and prepared every evening after a full day of exploration. Thanks to our water recycling system, this process uses recycled water, helping us maintain excellent service standards while operating more sustainably.

How Our Water Recycling System Works

Our water recycling system is built around a multi-stage filtration process using large storage tanks supplied by JoJo Tanks, a well-known South African brand specializing in water storage and rainwater harvesting solutions.

The system uses five large green JoJo tanks installed at our headquarters. These tanks form a five-stage recycling process that gradually filters and cleans the water.
