Lions Head Hike with Table Mountain & Castle visit

Itinerary :

Your day begins with a hike up Lion’s Head. After a short briefing, follow the well-marked circular trail that winds around the mountain before the final steep section to the summit at 669 meters above sea level. Enjoy 360-degree views over Cape Town, Camps Bay, Clifton, Table Bay, and Robben Island. Sunrise and sunset hikes are especially spectacular for photography.

Next, head to Table Mountain where you’ll take the Aerial Cableway up to the summit. The rotating cable cars provide panoramic views of the city, the Atlantic seaboard, and the surrounding mountains. Once at the top, enjoy leisure time to marvel at the scenery, have a snack at the restaurant, or browse the curio shop (weather permitting).

Finally, visit the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa. Explore the Castle Military Museum, the William Fehr Collection, and walk through the old workshops, living quarters, cellars, and tunnels. Learn about the history of this pentagonal fort and admire the art, antique furniture, metalwork, ceramics, and glassware collected over decades.

The tour ends with your return to your hotel, having experienced some of Cape Town’s most iconic sights all in one rewarding day.
