  • Stop at De Krans Wine Cellar in Calitzdorp. Sample up to 18 award-winning wines and ports while enjoying stunning views of the Gamka River Valley and surrounding mountains.

  • Visit the Cango Ostrich Show Farm in Oudtshoorn. Feed ostriches, explore breeding areas, and dare to ride one of these fascinating birds. Learn unique ostrich facts during the 45-minute guided farm tour.

  • Overnight: Oudtshoorn – Standard Room in a 4★ that includes Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.

  Day 2 – Oudtshoorn → Knysna 

  • Breakfast at your lodge.

  • Explore the Cango Caves, Africa’s largest show cave system, with awe-inspiring stalagmites, stalactites, and ancient formations.

  • Lunch at Kobus Se Gat, featuring traditional South African dishes like lamb chops, sausages, ostrich kebabs, seasonal vegetables, and the famous roosterkoek.

  • Continue to Knysna, a scenic town on the Garden Route surrounded by coastal forests and lagoons. Visit the Knysna Heads and optional activities at Featherbed Nature Reserve or Garden Route National Park.

  • Overnight: Knysna – Standard Room in a 4★ that includes Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.

    • Breakfast at your hotel.

    • Explore Tsitsikamma National Park, with indigenous forests, fynbos, and dramatic coastal scenery. Spot wildlife including Cape clawless otters, African wild cats, dolphins, and whales (seasonal). Optional short walk along the Mouth Trail and suspension bridge.

    • Visit Monkeyland (Entry fee excluded), the world’s first free-roaming multi-primate sanctuary, and observe various primate species in a natural forest setting.

    • Stop at Birds of Eden (Entry fee excluded), the world’s largest free-flight bird sanctuary. Stroll along elevated walkways and marvel at over 280 species of African and exotic birds.

    • Discover the golden beaches and scenic beauty of Plettenberg Bay.

    • Dinner at 34° South Restaurant.

    Day 4 – Knysna → Mossel Bay → Cape Town

    • Travel to Mossel Bay for a Game Drive in a private Garden Route Game Lodge Reserve. Spot antelope, giraffe, zebra, cheetah, and a variety of bird species. Learn about local flora, fauna, and the cheetah outreach program.

    • End of services and return to Cape Town.‌

  • Take care when partaking in adventure sports, and follow your guide’s instructions at all times to ensure that you stay safe.
  • Do not attempt to explore the Cango Caves alone – while the cave systems may seem simple, some of them are very complex and getting lost or injured is not impossible.
  • Be careful when approaching wild animals that you may encounter at the cheetah park or crocodile farm and follow instructions from the guides at these parks.
  • While the Garden Route is general safe and free of serious crime, petty crime can sometimes occur, keep valuables safely locked up and do not leave any items in your car during activities and excursions.
  • Remember that the sun beats down hard in the Cape, so sunscreen, hats and sunglasses are essential items for all tours in Cape Town and surrounds.
